Kangan Institute offer five free, nationally-accredited short training courses in infection control that are designed to help identify and manage the ongoing risk of coronavirus (COVID-19) infections.

These short courses are available to individuals working in critical industries in a customer facing role, with training offered as a mixture of flexible online and workplace learning that can be completed within an eight-week period.

WHAT THE TRAINING COVERS


Eligible participants will learn a range of skills including:

  • hand hygiene practices
  • effective surface cleaning
  • use of personal protective equipment
  • disposal of contaminated waste
  • hazard identification, control and reporting
  • appropriate protocols and responses in the event of an incident
  • knowledge regarding the basis of infection and transmission.
